Charlotte Ansell

Charlotte is a London-based poet performing widely across London as well as nationwide in the UK (in Oxford, Cheltenham, Birmingham, for example). She juggles a full-time job with her creative output and writes unflinchingly on topics perhaps best left untouched, but always with emotion and intensity. Charlotte’s acclaimed first collection you were for the poem has been described as “warm and honest” and has led to invitations to read at several festivals including the Redbridge Literature Festival, Refugee Sanctuary Festival, Cheltenham Literature Festival and LIFT Festival.

She is working on a follow-up collection due for release in 2005.
