I’d like to nudge up my knee
into the crook of your thigh;
a hidden oasis you didn’t know you had
because it has never sheltered this caravan
to crest its smooth places
as a breeze up the side of an eddy
carried in the twirl of delights
shimmying like the face of a dune

I’d like to tap my foot;
a dance in between your two
facing the world from between you
hinting at unspoken pleasures

I’d like to hold my breath;
releasing it as a caress
fearing may rush unchecked
to break us out of our reverie

And I’d want to say no words
for the silence itself would be whole
punctuated by the muted passion
of this unnamed seduction
